Now, if I have your attention... let me tell you how this fantastic
opportunity came about.

My name is Raul. I live in New York City, New York. I have season
tickets to our city’s hockey team. I invited a friend of mine to one
of the games this last October.

He said, "I’d love to go if you can have me back home by 10:00 p.m." I
told him that some games run just past 10:00 p.m. and would he mind we
stay if the game was close.

His response was, "No, tonight is the Mike Tyson - Evander Holyfield
boxing match and I have it on pay per view" I said, "do you mind if I
watch the fight with you"? He said, "sure, no problem". So we go watch
this great fight on cable pay per view and we are the only two guys at
my friends house.

After the fight (since it was so good) I offered to pay half of the cost
for the fight. My friends answer was, "no, no, that’s not necessary...
I got the fight for FREE!". I said to him, "for free, don’t those fights
cost around $40.00 a pop?" He told me, "yes, they do, but I bought a
cable descrambler box from an acquaintance of mine for $300.00".

He further explained that this "little black box" gets ALL the pay per
view events available! It also tunes in ALL the premium movie channels
and ALL the adult entertainment channels.

My response (without hesitation) was, "I gotta have one!" "$300.00, no
problem where do I pay !!!" I’m serious, I was excited. Lifetime
premium movie channels, pay per view and adult entertainment all for a
one-time fee of $300.00... no way!!!

"No way" was right. The guy that sold my buddy the box was no where to
be found. I was really disappointed. It was now time for desperate
measures. I begged and pleaded with my friend until he agreed to let me
take his box apart piece by piece to see how to make one for myself.

Luckily it was very easy, if it wasn’t simple I knew their was a slight
chance it was not going back together so pretty.

Now the rest is history... I’ve got my own box which I built with my own
two hands.

Would you like to build one yourself ?!?!

If so, would you pay $300.00. Maybe so, maybe not. Probably not, unless
you saw one work first. But since that is not possible, I will sell you
a complete set of instructions on how to build one yourself for a measly
$9.99. However, at that price YOU MUST ALSO ENCLOSE A #10 SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE WITH 55 CENTS POSTAGE AFFIXED.

You might ask, is this some type of rip-off scam deal. The answer is NO!
Everything has specific mechanics of how and why they do what they do.

We are just used to flipping a switch or pushing a button or moving the
mouse across our computer pads. It all happens because of a certain set
of processes. The cable television descrambler is no different.

However, for legal purposes I must add to this letter that this offer and
set of instructions shall be void where prohibited by law and the
assembling of parts necessary to make this "little jewel" work is for
educational purposes only.

To order a set of the instructions send $9.99 by cash, check or money
order payable to: Raul Mendez Enterprises, 50 Lexington Av suite 209, New York city, NY 10010

I will mail your order out within 24 hours of receiving it. Further, I
will give you a refund upon written request if you are unsatisfied for
any reason.

Happy Holidays !!!

Sincerely,

Raul Mendez

P.S.: The use of this mini-box if you choose to go on and see if your
creation works requires no alteration of your existing cable system.
You simply screw it in, right behind your television.

P.P.S.: Without the instructions it’s like figuring out how to set the
clock on your VCR. With the instructions, you are guaranteed success.

Subject: your website

Would you like to make your website more profitable?

Do you know how to tell if your website is making as much
money as it should?

My name is Scott Miller and his material has shown me how to
make $123,000 a year personally (this is net profit, not
gross sales!). During the past 4 years, Corey Rudl’s company
called The Internet Marketing Center has created fortunes
for companies just like yours.

At his website http://www.web-promotion-tips.com/t.cgi/9002/
he has been teaching others just like you, every tip, trick,
and technique imaginable for promoting a business online.

Corey has four businesses online, gets over 2 million
visitors to his websites yearly, does 2.6 million dollars in
sales online each year (yes, that is $2,600,000), and
personally makes hundreds of thousands of dollars from his
online businesses... all from his one small office. So
listen to what he has to say as he knows what he is talking
about when it comes to starting and promoting a business on
the Internet (one of the very few on the internet).

As an example, one of Corey’s business is the #1 best
selling car book on the internet, called "Car Secrets
Revealed". It alone does over 1/2 a million dollars in sales
online every year.

You can learn from the best! I did... I learned about things
like: how to completely automate my business, how to design
and place successful banner ads, building killer websites,
online classified ads, newsgroup promotions, promotions
through discussion lists and newsletters, autoresponder
tricks, promoting on CompuServe and AOL, bulletin board
advertising, electronic malls, ranking at the top of search
engines, creating killer copy, where to advertise
inexpensively (as you know much of the free advertising
online does not work)... and that is just to start.

Because of Corey’s successes and what he has taught me with
his unique promotional techniques online, and I have decided
to represent him and his company. I cannot recommend him
higher... this guy is a "real" example of someone that makes
hundreds of thousands of dollars on the internet.

He reveals all his unconventional tips, trick and techniques
with examples so you can learn the most efficient and
fastest way to make money on the Internet. You will learn
everything from how to get free autoresponders to the
advanced techniques of internet "backend" selling... that
alone can triple your profits.

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist or computer "techie"
to understand all of this. It is all written in laymen’s
terms, in a detailed step-by-step manner. No matter if you
are a "do-it-yourselfer" or have hired a webmaster to help
you with your online business, it is critical you have this
information to increase your traffic, increase your sales,
and increase your profits... BEFORE YOUR COMPETITORS DO!

To learn more about how you can obtain this crucial
information and how to receive a free subscription to the
newsletter - INTERNET MARKETING TIPS NEWSLETTER, go to:

"KSA can offer two services utilizing QLM for IT," said Kalman Saffran,
President of Kalman Saffran Associates, Inc. "Our engineers can analyze
your system, customize our QLM for IT methodology to your needs, and
train your people, or we can utilize QLM for IT and provide you with the
best design solution that is guaranteed to save you time and expense."

knowledge-base produces optimal results for IT organizations in a broad
set of companies.

KSA's extensive cross-industry experience and proven track record in IT

profitability for companies by rapidly improving outdated systems, allowing
the use of current staff levels to handle increased information requirements,
and upgrading customer services in a timely manner. In addition, by having
KSA create a more updated, powerful system design, productivity increases.

Comments and questions on section 7.1.5 of RFC 2257. Have checked
through the last year of archives, on the topic of duplicates saw only
Mike Daniele's comment about clarifying section 6.2.3 from Aug. 98.
Any clarification or pointers to earlier discussions much appreciated.

------------------------------------

1. The flow of logic was hard to follow at first. The "Otherwise"
in 5) is to match "If" in 3)? The intervening step 4) threw me off:
   until I'd digested it:

...
   3) If the NON_DEFAULT_CONTEXT bit is set, and the master agent
supports only a default context, the agentx-Response-PDU is
returned with res.error set to `unsupportedContext', and the
requested registration fails. Otherwise: The value of
res.sysUpTime is set to the value of sysUpTime.0 for the indicated
      context.

   4) Characterize the request.
...
   5) Otherwise, if this is a duplicate registration, the
agentx-Response-PDU is returned with res.error set to
`duplicateRegistration', and the requested registration fails.
...

2. Verifying difference in behavior vs. DPI implementation:
In the DPI implementation I'm familiar with, duplicate registration
is allowed; the later registration takes precedence (correct terminology:
"is the authoritative region"?). In case the second subagent unregisters
the affected region (e.g., exits normally), the earlier registration
becomes active again. Judging from description in 7.1.5, AgentX won't
   allow this, correct?

3. The reason for subdivision of regions in the examples isn't clear.
E.g., in the first example are subregions:

1.3.6.1.2.1.4 up to but not including 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.22 (by S2)
1.3.6.1.2.1.4.22 up to but not including 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.23 (by S2)
1.3.6.1.2.1.4.22 up to but not including 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.23 (by S1)
1.3.6.1.2.1.4.23 up to but not including 1.3.6.1.2.1.5 (by S2)

Why is 1.3.6.1.2.1.4 up to but not including 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.23 split
into two subregions? Second example has similar case for
1.3.6.1.2.1.4.23 up to but not including 1.3.6.1.2.2 .
