A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Emergency Context Resolution with Internet Technologies WG of the IETF.

Title : Changing the LoST Location Profile Registry Policy
        Author : Randall Gellens
	Filename : draft-ietf-ecrit-location-profile-registry-policy-00.txt
	Pages : 4
	Date : 2020-11-02

Abstract:
This document changes the policy of the Location-to-Service
Translation (LoST) Location Profile registry established by RFC5222
from Standards Action to Specification Required. This allows
standards development organizations (SDOs) other than the IETF to add
   new values.

The IETF datatracker status page for this draft is:
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-ecrit-location-profile-registry-policy/

There are also htmlized versions available at:
https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-ecrit-location-profile-registry-policy-00
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-ietf-ecrit-location-profile-registry-policy-00

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission
until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.

Hi, ECRIT and Randall,

As of October 31, we saw only support for adopting Draft:

And draft-ietf-ecrit-location-profile-registry-policy-00.txt has been
approved for adoption. Please continue to comment in this thread and we
will try to WGLC this document around November 16, 2020.

Allison and Roger.

Do you mean not start the WGLC until November 16th? Considering how =

short and simple the document is, I suggest starting WGLC now, and =

ending on the 16th.

Mis-typing by me. I meant we start a two-week WGLC now, to end 11/16. Too
much multi-tasking. But also, have you addressed the comments from the
reviewers on this thread already. Due to multi-tasking, I also haven't
checked that yet.

Hi ECRIT,

RFC 8876 created a new IANA registry called "SIP AlertMsg-Error Codes",
which needs a Designated Expert assigned. Did the working group have
anyone in particular in mind, or are there any volunteers to be appointed
into that role?

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Emergency Context Resolution with Internet Technologies WG of the IETF.

Title : Changing the LoST Location Profile Registry Policy
        Author : Randall Gellens
	Filename : draft-ietf-ecrit-location-profile-registry-policy-01.txt
	Pages : 4
	Date : 2020-11-18

Abstract:
This document changes the policy of the Location-to-Service
Translation (LoST) Location Profile registry established by RFC5222
from Standards Action to Specification Required. This allows
standards development organizations (SDOs) other than the IETF to add
   new values.

https://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-ietf-ecrit-location-profile-registry-policy-01

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission
until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.
