A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Frame Relay Service MIB Working Group of the IETF.

Title : Definitions of Managed Objects for Frame Relay Service
	Author(s)	: K. Rehbehn, D. Fowler
	Filename	: draft-ietf-frnetmib-frs-mib-03.txt
	Pages : 73
	Date : 11-Jan-99

This memo defines an extension to the Management Information Base
(MIB) for use with network management protocols in TCP/IP-based
internets. In particular, it defines objects for managing the Frame
   Relay Service.

This memo does not specify a standard for the Internet community.

This document entirely replaces RFC 1604.

A URL for this Internet-Draft is:
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-frnetmib-frs-mib-03.txt

Internet-Drafts are also available by anonymous FTP. Login with the username
"anonymous" and a password of your e-mail address. After logging in,
type "cd internet-drafts" and then
	"get draft-ietf-frnetmib-frs-mib-03.txt".

A list of Internet-Drafts directories can be found in
http://www.ietf.org/shadow.html

Internet-Drafts can also be obtained by e-mail.

Send a message to:
	mailserv@ietf.org.
In the body type:
	"FILE /internet-drafts/draft-ietf-frnetmib-frs-mib-03.txt".

NOTE:	The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
	how to manipulate these messages.

Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the
Internet-Draft.

Just FYI, the first attempted spam on the new frnetmib list arrived this
morning. It didn't take them long to find us! Thanks to Sun's spam
protection, only I received the email, which is certainly better than it
being inflicted on the entire list.

Back on-topic, it has been very quiet, so I'm going to stir things up a bit.

I am beginning working group last call on draft-ietf-frnetmib-spvc-02.txt,
to last two weeks and end on Friday, Feb. 5. Please review it and send
comments to the list.

Unless any other major comments come up between now and Feb. 5 on
draft-ieft-frnetmib-frs-mib-03.txt, I will then commence WG last call on
that document as well. I'm warning you now because it is somewhat on the
lengthy side, so I don't want any complaints when working group last call
begins that you were caught by surprise. Please begin your reviews now!

Thanks much,
Andy
