From:1002 Lausanne
Switzerland

Dear Friend.

My name is Ms. LIOUDMILA OCONNOR a member of Independent
Committee of Eminent Persons (ICEP), Switzerland. This Committee
is charged with the responsibility of finding bank accounts in
Switzerland belonging to non-Swiss indigenes, which have remained
dormant since World War II.

It may interest you to know that in July of 1997, the Swiss Banker's
Association published a list of dormant accounts originally opened by
non-Swiss citizens. These accounts had been dormant since the end of
World War II (May 9, 1945). Most belonged to Holocaust victims.
The continuing efforts of the Independent Committee of
Eminent Persons have since resulted in the discovery of additional
dormant accounts -54,000 in December, 1999.

The published lists contain all types of dormant accounts, including
interest-bearing savings accounts, securities accounts, safe deposit
boxes, custody accounts, and non-interest-bearing transaction
accounts. Numbered accounts are also included. Interest is paid
on accounts that were interest bearing when established.
The Claims Resolution Tribunal handles processing of all claims on
accounts due non-Swiss citizens. A dormant account of (the deceased)
with a credit balance of 21,000,000 US dollar plus
accumulated interest was discovered by me. The beneficiary was
murdered during the holocaust era, Leaving no WILL and no possible
records for trace of heirs. The Claims Resolution Tribunal has been
mandated to report all unclaimed funds for permanent closure of
accounts and transfer of existing credit balance into the treasury
of Switzerland government as provided by the law for management of
assets of deceased beneficiaries who died interstate (living no
wills).

Being a top executive at ICEP, I have all secret details and necessary
contacts for claim of the funds without any hitch. The funds will be
banked in a safe haven and we can share the funds and use in
investment of our choice. Due to the sensitive nature of my job, I
need a foreigner to HELP claim the funds.
All that is required is for you to provide me with your details for
processing of the necessary legal and administrative claim documents
for transfer of the funds to you, to this regard, you are expected to
fill out a text form. I will pay all required fees to ensure
that the fund is transferred to a secured, numbered account in your
name, where you will be capable of accessing the funds and gradually
transfering to your country and other
banks of choice in the world. THERE IS NO RISK INVOLVED.

You can find additional information about unclaimed funds through the
internet at the following websites:

www.swissbankclaims.com
http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/europe/9902/09/germany.holocaust/
www.wiesenthal.com

The Holocaust Claims Processing Office has put funds in Escrow
awaiting submission of valid claims for necessary disbursement.

I find myself priviledged to have this information and this may be a
great opportunity for a life time of success without risks. Due to
confidential reasons, reply via email only. You may reply to me
securely through this email address (lioudmila.lioumila@gmx.net)

I await your urgent response to this proposal via my email address.
Thank you for your prompt response.

My Regards
kimaeva Lioudmila

Since IDMR's only work item is in the IESG queue, and the working group
hasn't met in years, Alex and I want to close the working group. The
plan will still be to publish the DVMRP spec as an individual submission.

I'm fairly sure that the working group, such as it is, has consensus
on this tack, if only because the working group has been so silent
and all of the active work items are in other groups. However, we don't
want to take an action without checking with the group, thus this message.

Thanks,
  Bill

Since IDMR's only work item is in the IESG queue, and the working group
hasn't met in years, Alex and I want to close the working group. The
plan will still be to publish the DVMRP spec as an individual submission.

I'm fairly sure that the working group, such as it is, has consensus
on this tack, if only because the working group has been so silent
and all of the active work items are in other groups. However, we don't
want to take an action without checking with the group, thus this message.

Thanks,
  Bill

I did notice a question on this list a few days ago regarding the
mtrace draft... :-)

>What is status of multicast traceroute, both the Internet-Draft and mtrace?

I just resubmitted the latest Internet-Draft.

>Is the effort to progress draft abandoned or transformed into other life
>form?

It fell by the wayside because we never managed to finish addressing
concerns over whether or not hosts should be allowed to send these
packets - when we were initially ready to publish the spec, smurf
and other packet amplification attacks were getting popular and with
the "return this packet to arbitrary IP address" request, mtrace
could fall in that class.

The tension between wanting to allow arbitrary users to use the tool
(just like with unicast traceroute) and wanting to restrict it for
security meant that we never made any progress.

Well, the mtrace draft was already turned into an individual
submission. I've resubmitted it with no changes so that there's
an active I-D to refer to; look for draft-fenner-traceroute-ipm-01.txt
in a day or two.

I think with these DVMRP and Mtrace draft actions, I don't
see any need to keep IDMR open.

Thanks for the outstanding work in IDMR over the years Bill.

This draft describes the IGMP multicast traceroute facility.
Unlike unicast traceroute, multicast traceroute requires a special
packet type and implementation on the part of routers. This speci-
fication describes the required functionality in multicast routers,
as well as how management applications can use the new router func-
tionality.

NOTE:	The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
	how to manipulate these messages.

Title : A 'traceroute' facility for IP Multicast.
	Author(s)	: B. Fenner, et al.
	Filename	: draft-fenner-traceroute-ipm-01.txt
	Pages : 25
	Date : 2005-2-15

This draft describes the IGMP multicast traceroute facility.
Unlike unicast traceroute, multicast traceroute requires a special
packet type and implementation on the part of routers. This speci-
fication describes the required functionality in multicast routers,
as well as how management applications can use the new router func-
tionality.

"anonymous" and a password of your e-mail address. After logging in,
type "cd internet-drafts" and then

Internet-Drafts can also be obtained by e-mail.

Send a message to:
	mailserv@ietf.org.
In the body type:
	"FILE /internet-drafts/draft-fenner-traceroute-ipm-01.txt".

Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the
Internet-Draft.
