This is a reminder, sent out once a month, about your ietf.org mailing
list memberships. It includes your subscription info and how to use
it to change it or unsubscribe from a list.

You can visit the URLs to change your membership status or
configuration, including unsubscribing, setting digest-style delivery
or disabling delivery altogether (e.g., for a vacation), and so on.

In addition to the URL interfaces, you can also use email to make such
changes. For more info, send a message to the '-request' address of
the list (for example, mailman-request@ietf.org) containing just the
word 'help' in the message body, and an email message will be sent to
you with instructions.

NOTE WELL:

Any submission to the IETF intended by the Contributor for publication
as all or part of an IETF Internet-Draft or RFC and any statement made
within the context of an IETF activity is considered an "IETF
Contribution". Such statements include oral statements in IETF
sessions, as well as written and electronic communications made at any
time or place, which are addressed to:

o the IETF plenary session, o any IETF working group or portion
thereof, o the IESG, or any member thereof on behalf of the IESG, o
the IAB or any member thereof on behalf of the IAB, o any IETF mailing
list, including the IETF list itself, any working group
or design team list, or any other list functioning under IETF
auspices,
o the RFC Editor or the Internet-Drafts function

All IETF Contributions are subject to the rules of RFC 3667 and RFC
3668.

Statements made outside of an IETF session, mailing list or other
function, that are clearly not intended to be input to an IETF
activity, group or function, are not IETF Contributions in the context
of this notice.

Please consult RFC 3667 for details.

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Internet and Management Support for Storage Working Group of the IETF.

Title : Fibre Channel Fabric Address Manager MIB
	Author(s)	: C. DeSanti, et al.
	Filename	: draft-ietf-imss-fc-fam-mib-00.txt
	Pages : 38
	Date : 2004-10-21

This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)
for use with network management protocols in the Internet community.
In particular, it describes managed objects for information related
to a Fibre Channel network's Fabric Address Manager. At present,
this memo is a work item of T11.5 (http://www.t11.org). The plan is
that it will later be a work item of the IETF's IMSS working group.

A URL for this Internet-Draft is:
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-imss-fc-fam-mib-00.txt

To remove yourself from the I-D Announcement list, send a message to
i-d-announce-request@ietf.org with the word unsubscribe in the body of the message.
You can also visit https://www1.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/I-D-announce
to change your subscription settings.

Internet-Drafts are also available by anonymous FTP. Login with the username
"anonymous" and a password of your e-mail address. After logging in,
type "cd internet-drafts" and then
	"get draft-ietf-imss-fc-fam-mib-00.txt".

A list of Internet-Drafts directories can be found in
http://www.ietf.org/shadow.html
or ftp://ftp.ietf.org/ietf/1shadow-sites.txt

Internet-Drafts can also be obtained by e-mail.

Send a message to:
	mailserv@ietf.org.
In the body type:
	"FILE /internet-drafts/draft-ietf-imss-fc-fam-mib-00.txt".

NOTE:	The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
	how to manipulate these messages.

Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the
Internet-Draft.

MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
	how to manipulate these messages.

All,

I have requested a 1 hour meeting time in Washington D.C. for the IMSS
Working group.
If anyone would like to request agenda time please do so by Sunday, October
31.

The agenda items I have so far include:

New working group drafts:
Two new working group drafts are available.
These drafts address two working group charter items:
Fibre Channel Name Server MIB:
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-imss-fc-nsm-mib-00.txt
Fibre Channel Fabric Address Manager MIB:
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-imss-fc-fam-mib-00.txt
(formerly Domain Mgr MIB)

One proposed work item:
Fibre Channel over IPv4:
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-desanti-imss-ipv4-over-fibre-chann
el-00.txt
This draft is a proposed draft that the authors believe should either update
or replace RFC 2625. It includes details of differences between RFC 2625
and the ID.

Time permitting, INCITS T11.5 would also like to propose new work for the
IMSS working group to consider.
There are currently no drafts for these proposals, but would cover FSPF
(Fibre Shortest Path First) MIB and a routing protocol independent Routing
Information MIB.

Thanks,

Elizabeth

Elizabeth,

I'll present a Liaison Report from T11.5 as per usual. Should we also be
talking about the recent IANA registry activities?

Regards,

Roger Cummings
