A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
 This draft is a work item of the Mobility for IPv4 Working Group of the IETF.

        Title : Flow Binding Support for Mobile IP
        Authors         : Sri Gundavelli
                          Kent Leung
                          George Tsirtsis
                          Alexandru Petrescu
	Filename        : draft-ietf-mip4-multiple-tunnel-support-12.txt
	Pages           : 18
	Date            : 2015-04-19

Abstract:
   This specification defines extensions to Mobile IP protocol for
   allowing a mobile node with multiple interfaces to register a care-of
   address for each of its network interfaces and to simultaneously
   establish multiple IP tunnels with its home agent. This essentially
   allows the mobile node to utilize all the available network
   interfaces and build an higher aggregated logical pipe with its home
   agent for its home address traffic. Furthermore, these extensions
   also allow the mobile node and the home agent to negotiate IP traffic
   flow policies for binding individual flows with the registered
   care-of addresses.

Scope:
======

Internet of Things, Smart-cities and Fog computing are representative
examples of modern ICT paradigms that aim to describe a dynamic and
global cooperative infrastructure built upon objects intelligence and
self-configuring capabilities; these connected objects are finding their
way into vehicles (smart-cars), urban areas (smart-cities) and
infrastructure (smart-grid).
Objects need to be smart, with enough intelligence and sensors to
perform required operations. They must be able to wirelessly communicate
with other nodes or remote centre in their network, exchanging
information and receiving instructions in a reliable and secure way.
They must be autonomous, capable of managing the energy resources in
order to extend their lifetime span. Considered objects may include
everything from lightweight sensors to smart-gadgets like smartphones
and wearable devices.
The increased smartness of the participating objects is crucial to solve
the issues derived from the required cooperation and possibly
unpredictable and intense mobility. The objects can move in many
different ways, covering transportation means from (i) terrestrial, like
cars or trains, to (ii) aerial like drones or planes, and (iii)
underwater ships. But even static objects should be flexible enough to
efficiently handle on-off patterns imposed for energy savings.
The SMARTOBJECTS workshop focuses on experiences with the design,
implementation, deployment, operation and evaluation of novel
communication approaches and systems for smart objects in the emerging
cooperative environments. We are therefore seeking original, previously
unpublished papers empirically addressing key issues and challenges in
the smart objects arena.

SCOPE

Technological advances in recent years have provided significant increases =
in the computing power and networking capabilities of mobile devices. For e=
xample, many smartphones and personal digital assistants (PDAs) currently e=
mploy powerful processors and have Internet broadband connectivity that riv=
al that of desktop computers and laptops. For these reasons, mobile device=
s are being used for many applications including social networking, and bus=
iness applications like: online banking. Because these devices are ubiquito=
us, they are high-value targets for cyber criminals that seek financial gai=
ns.
Mobile devices are still suffering from many security challenges. The secur=
ity policy offered by the mobile platforms is loose because it allows devel=
opers and users to install any application. As a result, we witnessed an in=
creasing number of attacks and malware targeting mobile platforms like Andr=
oid and iOS, and which caused serious issues for the user. For example, the=
 malware can integrate compromised mobile devices into a botnet, it can als=
o send SMS messages to premium numbers without the user=92s knowledge, and =
hence the user=92s bill is charged. In addition, the users are increasingly=
 using their devices to handle their private information. However, the devi=
ces provide insufficient data security and data protection.
This workshop aims at gathering researchers and practitioners working on mo=
bile computing security to share ideas and new research innovations in the =
field.
The topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
=95 Smartphone security.
=95 Vulnerability analysis for smartphones.
=95 Data protection and privacy.
=95 Security and privacy of operating systems, middleware, and applications=
.
=95 Evaluation of mobile security solutions.
=95 Mobile malware collection, statistics, and analysis;
=95 Mobile malware detection.
=95 Bots on mobile devices.
=95 Mobile botnet detection.
=95 Mobile botnet design and countermeasures.
=95 Reverse engineering and automated analysis of mobile malware.
=95 Traffic monitoring and detection algorithms for mobile platforms.
=95 Cloud security and privacy solutions for mobile devices.
=95 Mobile device forensics.
=95 Mobile services and social networking security.
=95 Security for smart payment applications.
=95 Test beds and case studies for secure mobile platforms.
=95 Formal models and architecture design for secure mobile platforms.

<div>=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D</div>
<div>Technological advances in recent years have provided significant incre=
ases in the computing power and networking capabilities of mobile devices. =
For example, many smartphones and personal digital assistants (PDAs) curren=
tly employ powerful processors and
 have Internet broadband connectivity that rival that of desktop computers =
and laptops.&nbsp; For these reasons, mobile devices are being used for man=
y applications including social networking, and business applications like:=
 online banking. Because these devices
 are ubiquitous, they are high-value targets for cyber criminals that seek =
financial gains.&nbsp;</div>
<div>Mobile devices are still suffering from many security challenges. The =
security policy offered by the mobile platforms is loose because it allows =
developers and users to install any application. As a result, we witnessed =
an increasing number of attacks
 and malware targeting mobile platforms like Android and iOS, and which cau=
sed serious issues for the user. For example, the malware can integrate com=
promised mobile devices into a botnet, it can also send SMS messages to pre=
mium numbers without the user=92s
 knowledge, and hence the user=92s bill is charged. In addition, the users =
are increasingly using their devices to handle their private information. H=
owever, the devices provide insufficient data security and data protection.=
</div>
<div>This workshop aims at gathering researchers and practitioners working =
on mobile computing security to share ideas and new research innovations in=

IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference (CCNC)
               Las Vegas, January 8-11, 2016
(Held in conjunction with the International Consumer Electronics Show)

General Call for Workshops

*****************************************************************

IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference (CCNC), sponsored
by the IEEE Communications Society, is a major annual international
conference. Taking advantage of its co-location with the International
CES (the world's largest tradeshow on consumer technology), CCNC is
organized with the objective of bringing together researchers,
developers, and practitioners from academia and industry working in all
areas of consumer technologies. CCNC 2016 will feature high quality
keynotes, plenary talks, panels, and tutorials.

The CCNC 2016 Organization Committee invites members of the research,
development, and practitioner communities to submit workshop proposals.
Workshops provide a forum for people to discuss areas of special
interest pertinent to consumer communications and networking with
like-minded researchers and practitioners. Workshops aim at examining an
area in a less formal, more open environment for the free exchange of
views, and possibly in a more focused way than in the main track of the
conference itself.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

* Communications and Signal processing for modern mobile devices.
* Social Networking, CrowdSourcing and Participatory Sensing
* Wearable Augmented Reality
* Internet of Things (IoT)
* Peer-to-Peer and Cloud-based Networking
* Multimedia Networking, Services, & Applications
* Smart Spaces & Sensor Networks
* 3D printing
* Personal Robotics
* Security, Content Protection & DRM
* Vehicular Networks
* Green Communications & Computation
* eHealth, Ambient Assisted Living
* Home Energy Management
* Telepresence & Telerobotics
* Intelligent & Emotion-oriented Computing
* 3D Imaging, Processing, Communications & Display
* Innovative Multimedia Systems & Consumer Electronics
* Information Integration & Data Analytics
* Case studies of application deployments
* Emerging Standardization Topics in Consumer Communications.

CCNC workshops will probably be organized on the first and last day of
the conference (Jan 8 and Jan 11).

Proposal Format:

The workshop organizers should submit a workshop proposal by May 31st 2015.
Each Workshop proposal should include:

1) Name of workshop and proposed URL of site to host CFP, program etc.

2) Theme of the workshop and topics of interest and how these relate
to the overall conference

3) Names, affiliations, and a short bio (up to 200 words) of the
organizers

4) Brief description (up to 1 page) of research, industry, and
practitioners' topics of interest that the workshop will address

5) Reasons why the workshop is of interest to the conference
participants

6) Audience: expected number of participants, potential program
committee members

7) Description of the publicity plan: how to attract participants and
submissions

8) Planned format: participant selection, time line, type of
contributions, discussions and integration of non-presenting participants.

* Full-day workshops should aim for 8-9 accepted papers or invited
technical talks. Half-day workshops should aim for 4-5 accepted papers
or invited technical talks. Indicate the maximum length of the papers to
be submitted.

* If the workshop will include invited technical talks (i.e.
presentation of a non-peer-reviewed paper ), the proposal should include
a subset of invited speakers who are willing to attend and participate
if the workshop is accepted.

9) If applicable, a description of past editions of the workshop,
including: number of submitted and accepted papers, and number of attendees.

10) A draft workshop call for papers with:

* The names, affiliations, addresses, phone numbers and email
addresses of the workshop organizers, who should be experts in the
related topics and preferably from multiple organizations.

All proposals and questions should be submitted to the workshop chairs
(subject: CCNC16 workshop):

Carlos T. Calafate, Technical University of Valencia. E-mail:
calafate@disca.upv.es
Peppino Fazio, University of Calabria. E-mail: pfazio@deis.unical.it

Conference registration fees will not be waived for speakers at accepted
workshops. The organizers of the accepted workshops will be responsible
for paper reviewing and the workshop programs.

Workshop Proposals Due: May 31, 2015
Acceptance Notification: June 15, 2015
