I've no idea. Anyone else have opinions on what would be better, group
name or the first address inside the group? The most common group
nowadays seems to be "undisclosed-recipients: ;" where there is no first
address. I tested that at least Evolution shows group names.

I uploaded the -01 draft yesterday, but for some reason there was no
notification sent to this list. Anyway:

This message officially starts the MOrg Working Group Last Call for the
following document:

IMAP4 Extension for returning STATUS information in extended LIST

<http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-morg-status-in-list-01.txt>

The Working Group Last Call for this document starts on May 15th
and will end on May 31th. Please send any comments to the MOrg
mailing list or to the document authors. If you chose to do the latter,
please CC both Timo Sirainen <tss@iki.fi> and Randall Gellens
<randy@qualcomm.com>. Reviews that found no issues are also welcomed, so
if you review the document and find it acceptable, please let the
mailing list/authors+chairs know as well.

Also, in order to simplify tracking of various issues, please clearly
mark each issue in the message (ideally in the subject header field,
sending 1 issue per email message). Also, I would strongly encourage to
provide specific suggestions for solving issues you've raised (or at
least show an example of how your issue can be addressed).

- Timo, MOrg co-chair

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Message Organization Working Group of the IETF.

Title : IMAP4 Extension for returning STATUS information in extended LIST
	Author(s) : A. Melnikov, T. Sirainen
	Filename : draft-ietf-morg-status-in-list-01.txt
	Pages : 6
	Date : 2009-05-13

Many IMAP clients display information about total number of messages/
total number of unseen messages in IMAP mailboxes. In order to do
that they are forced to issue a LIST or LSUB command, to list all
available mailboxes, followed by a STATUS command for each mailbox
found. This document provides an extension to LIST command that
allows the client to request STATUS information for mailboxes
together with other information typically returned by the LIST
command.

Note

A revised version of this draft document will be submitted to the RFC
editor as a Proposed Standard for the Internet Community. Discussion
and suggestions for improvement are requested, and should be sent to
morg@ietf.org.
