Folks,

As you may have noticed, there was an IPR disclosure about the DHCP SAVI
document (cf.
http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/savi/current/msg01918.html).

If you have any concerns about the standardization of this document as RFC
(Proposed Standard), please, inform the WG.

BTW, this is a new chance for any technical comments too.

This WGLC will end the 2014-07-02.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Best regards,

JMC.

Personally, since the products have been in the field since 2003 and =

I would like to bring the process to closure.

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Source Address Validation Improvements Working Group of the IETF.

Title : SAVI Solution for DHCP
        Authors : Jun Bi
                          Jianping Wu
                          Guang Yao
                          Fred Baker
	Filename : draft-ietf-savi-dhcp-27.txt
	Pages : 44
	Date : 2014-06-28

Abstract:
This document specifies the procedure for creating a binding between
a DHCPv4/DHCPv6 assigned IP address and a binding anchor on a SAVI
(Source Address Validation Improvements) device. The bindings set up
by this procedure is used to filter out packets with forged source IP
address in DHCP scenario. This mechanism is proposed as a complement
to ingress filtering to provide finer-grained source IP address
   validation.
