Questions and Answers

What is Herbal V?

Herbal V is a proprietary blend that was specifically
developed as a safe alternative for men who prefer
an all-natural approach to address impotence and boost
sexual performance. This amazing formula first became
popular with Hollywood insiders and the wealthy elite.
They were maximizing their sex lives, long before it
was available to the general public.

How does Herbal V work?

Developed by a team whose goal was to create the perfect
all-natural aphrodisiac. Herbal V is the result of that
remarkable effort. The Herbal V formula contains a precise
blend of cutting edge pro-sexual nutrients from around
the world that provide nutritional support, making it
possible for a man to have a pleasurable sexual experience.

What can Herbal V do for me?

Herbal V helps support male sexual function and
pleasure in a safe and natural manner. Simply put,
it can make your sex life incredible.

Is Herbal V Safe?

One of the great things about Herbal V is that it is
not a drug. It is an incredible herbal dietary supplement
that provides nutritional support for male sexual function
and pleasure. One of the most comforting features of
Herbal V is that you never have to worry about safety.

Herbal V: Safe - Natural - Exciting

Many have speculated that because Herbal V is so
popular with men, it must contain prescription drugs
or chemical components. Herbal V does not contain any
elements or traces of any prescription drug. Herbal V
is made using the world's most technologically advanced
state-of-the-art cold processing equipment to ensure
maximum purity. Herbal V has been independently analyzed
by the nation's premier testing facility to ensure purity,
quality and to end the rumors that, because it is so
popular, it must somehow be chemical. It is not.
Herbal V is natural - just as it says on the label.
Herbal V is simply fantastic!

Herbal V: Ingredients

Yohimbe, saw palmetto, avena sativa, androstenedione,
guarana, taurine, siberian ginseng, tribulus terrestris.
Tribulus Terrestis is certified to enhanced testosterone
levels by increasing Luteinzing hormone (LH) levels.
Androstenedione which is a precursor to testosterone
unlocks bound testosterone and makes it biologically
active again quickly. This means a dramatic surge in
desire. Avena Sativa Stimulates the neurotransmitter
pleasure centers to maximum capacity. This greatly
intensifies pleasure.

Just listen to what Herbal V has done for the sex lives
of people like you!

“On a scale of 1 to 10, it's a 15. Electrifying. It's like
a wonder pill!”
— Justin Q B., New Haven, Texas

“I haven't had sexual relations in 11 years. Then with
Herbal V it was... wow! It works again!”
— Sid R., Lakeland, Florida

“I had sex four times in one night. It made me feel
like a 19-year-old again.”
— Chip S, Beech Mountain, North Carolina

“Herbal V has turned my husband into a Sexual Superman!
I like the fact that it's all natural and has no
side effects. It's bringing back the good old days.”
— Jennifer B, Beverly Hills, California

The above testimonials are from product literature,
and we have not independently verified them.
However, the following testimonial is from a "senior"
gentleman who has purchased his second bottle of
Herbal V. When we heard his words with our own ears,
we asked his permission to print them here.

“Man! I'm wild as I can be! I feel like I'm 25 years old again!
I'm not believing this!”
                          — Mr. Murphy, age 64, Lampart, IL.

My Multi-Million Dollar
Publishing Company
ONLY $149

Free Pre-Approved Merchant Account Application with Order!!
To Start Your Business Out Right!!

If you ever wanted "the easy way out" to make a lot of money
with a business of your own....
Here is the EASIEST WAY TO START!

I'm writing this letter to let you in on something that'll blow
you away. What I'm about to present is something I've
never done before...something that I'll never do again....
So PAY ATTENTION!

For the past few years...I've have been running ads in
newspapers & magazines, by direct mail, and throughout
the internet. These ads were always small and very cheap...

On these ads, we have been selling little manuals. These
manuals have sold for anywhere between $10 to $99 each.
We always ran different ads for each manual we were selling.

I like selling information because NOBODY can put a price on
it...ESPECIALLY when it is your own...The Sky is the Limit!

Plus it is very cheap to reproduce How-To manuals. It costs
between 40 cents and $3 to print the entire print manuals and
around 35 cents to copy the manuals on disk. AND you can
sell them for up to $99 each. That is one hell of a markup!

These manuals tell you how to get a car with no money down
and no credit...another one tells you how to avoid taxes by
depositing income offshore...now you may not be interested in
saving money by going offshore...but believe me....there are
MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO DO...and they are willing to pay
me to teach them!!!

Well this is where the unbelievable offer comes in...I hope you
are sitting down for this one...because this is a once in a
lifetime chance for you. I do not know of an easier way to
become financially independent...In fact THERE IS NO EASIER
WAY!!!
The next few paragraphs will reveal everything to you.

I am willing to sell you my entire informational product line
with FULL REPRINT RIGHTS and complete step-by-step
instructions on how to start your mail order information business
with very little money.

Remember, these are PROVEN WINNERS. If you are
stumped on something to sell or if you are having trouble
writing a good ad, I have also included an entire book on
disk to help you produce KILLER ads!

This entire package which I call a Publishing Company in a
Box will come on 1 CD containing over 2000 'Hot-Selling'
Books, Reports And Manuals ready to print and sell, Sell,
SELL! It also will come with a signed letter giving YOU FULL
REPRINT RIGHTS allowing you to sell them for as much as
you want and however you want. You Can even sell the entire
kit to someone else to resale on their own! You also receive
copies of KILLER ads which can fill your mailbox with cash!

I am not even going to ask you for any of the money either...
What you make is yours to keep . In fact...you get to make a
ton of money on these manuals for as long as you wish...and
you will never have to pay me another red cent in royalties!

I am even going to print out and prepare our #1 selling report
which contains the secrets of obtaining credit without a credit
check and producing an offshore income without taxes so that
you will be able to take it down to your local copy shop and be
ready to sell it the same day you have received it. Watch out
though - one individual is making $70,000 a month on this report
alone! (Why - Because you can include a FREE offshore credit
application for those with bad or no credit with this report and
explode your mailbox with orders) Note: THIS APPLICATION IS
INCLUDED!

All I ask for is...$149 and I will include FREE Priority Mail
Shipping! Yes, I said $149. There are no zeros missing.
Plus if you order before Nov 18, 2000 I will include
4 extra special bonuses...

Bonus #1 - "Search Engine Magic" on disk. This report will
shoot your web site up to the top of the search engine listings.
Other web advertisers are selling this manual for $99 by
itself - But I will give it to you for FREE with this package.

Bonus #2 - The report "How to Make at least $1,600 a week
online...Starting Now!" which is taking the internet by storm
will be included absolutely FREE!

Bonus #3 - I will include special details about a secret source
for direct mail leads that can produce cash orders along with
out KILLER ads. And another source will be given which
allows you to advertise nationwide through newspapers to
70,000,000 readers for as low as 7 cents per word.

Bonus #4 - I also will include a pre-approved application for
a merchant account for your business benefit. Taking credit
cards will increase your business up to 100%. The normal
$195 application fee will be waved with this pre-approved
application.

But there is one drawback... I am sending this ad to 10,000
other people...and I will only allow 50 kits to be sold. It
wouldn't make much sense if I sold this kit to 1,000 or 2,000
people...The market would be saturated with these same
manuals...
and I don't want to do that. To make sure that the people in
this offer get the same results I have...ONLY 50 people can have
it for $149.00!

Chances are, I will get all 50 within a week's time. So if this
is something you are interested in...RUSH me a check or money
order for $149.00 TODAY to insure your future business.

But, even if you decide to pass this up...Don't sweat it. It's
not like I am going to be mad or anything like that. I know I
will get my 50 order limit really fast. And anyone who gets
their check into me late... I will simply send it back.

For only $149.00, I am going to let you have the easiest money
you will ever make. The manuals are written, the ads are
presented, the advertising plan is laid out, and all you have
to do is print them out for pennies and place the ads.

Do it today! Rush me your payment of $149.00 right now...and
get your very own MILLION DOLLAR publishing company going!

You can start with one or two manuals...even the day you
receive the package...and then expand to include ALL of them!

For $149.00, you have everything you need to make a killing
with your very own business. If you want to make real
money - then this offer is for you!

"I took the report "Search Engine Magic" and sold over 50
copies on disk within 2 weeks! They sold for $99 and I was
able to copy them for under 50 cents each. Wait till I start
marketing the other products included in this line!!!"

Hi Bentzy
VRRP is supposed to work over different segments, on the same LAN.
In case of LANE, the LES will hold the mapping between the VRRP MAC address
and the ATM address of the machine acting as the VRRP Master router.
Whenever a LEC has to send data to the VRRP IP address, it will first get
the VRRP MAC address for the same using IP ARP, and then using LE_ARP, it
will get the ATM address of the VRRP Master Router.
All this is supportive of the fact, that VRRP works over different segments
present on the same LAN.
Aruneesh
(Nortel Networks.)

Hi !
Suppose a virtual router is configured with more then one backUp.Since none of the VRRP routers is the IP Address owner ,none of them has a priority of 255 but any other value.Lets say they own a consecutive priority.(like 100,101,102).
Now the master is down. The router with priority 100 is declared as the master. After a while the original master is up again.

My question : With what priority will the original master send its advertisment ?.Why ?
Does it remember it used to be the original master ?.If so. how ?

10x for your time,

Bob,

1) Doesn't this depend also on the value of pre-emption flag?
2) Although there is nothing wrong with Ammon's example, isn't advisable to
"spread out"
priority numbers to avoid unintended race conditions?

Clarifications are appreciated.

Best regards,

Adnan

The finite state machine in the protocol doesn't care. To avoid
configuration errors it is a good idea.

Hi Amnon
The scenario you have described in your query is a basic example of VRRP in
action.
When the master is up, it keeps sending VRRP advertisments declaring its
priority. Every VRRP router, listens to the advertisments, and whenever one
detects that it hasnt received a VRRP advertisments in a configurabe time
period, it starts sending adevertisments. No VRRP router remembers the
status of the router at any point of time. The only FSM it maintains is the
last VRRP operation, slave or master.
Now when the router with priority 102 becomes the master router, it is in
control of VRRP IP. When the original VRRP Master router (priority 255)
comes up again, it sends a VRRP advertisment, and takes on the VRRP master
router.
If you have any more questions in this respect, please do let me know.
Aruneesh

Hi Amnon,
Ya, it would be a good idea if you send your questions, and i can answer
them, taking one at a time.
Regarding the priorities, it really does not matter what the priority of a
particular router is. The important factor is the time period in which a
router has to receive VRRP adevrtisments from a VRRP router (acting as
Master), and its own priority.
Suppose the master goes down, that means, it wont be able to send any VRRP
advertisments. Now, the FSM of the backup VRRP routers, will time out not
receiving any VRRP advertisments, and thus feel that there are no other
routers in picture, and will send VRRP advertisments. Now if a particular
time goes by, and it receives no VRRP advertisments from any other VRRP
router, it will take on the responsibility of the master VRRP router.
It is similar to saying, who takes it first, obviously on basis of VRRP
priority.
Please feel absolutely free to ask.
Cheers
Aruneesh

Hi All,

I have a basic query regarding how the VRRP works.

As I understand, the router have its physical MAC address, say X,
which a host uses for the communication. The ethernet card will be having
this MAC address onto it. All the packets which have this MAC address are
being picked and forwarded by the router.

Now consider the case in which the VRRPd starts running on R1 as master and is backed up by R2.
At this moment R1 starts picking up the packets destined for the Virtual MAC Address,
say V (by telling to the hosts thru gratituous ARP).

Does this mean that the hardware address of the Ethernet card to be changed to V.
If YES
	1. What about the hosts which do not have (for any reason) the ARP table modified with IP mapping to V.
	2. In case a Router is acting as master for two (the virtual routers), which virtual MAC address the Ethernet card
to be set, as both the virtual router will be having their seperate Virtual MAC addresses.
If NO
	1. Do we need to set the Ethernet card in the promiscuous mode to accept all the packets and filter out depending
	    on the Virtual MAC address.
	2. Only the packets with the destination link MAC address as the Virtual address need to be picked by the VRRPd
other packets with the physical MAC address or any other MAC address will be handled the same way as they
were previuosly when no VRRPd was running.

Thanks in advance
Rajnish

Hi Rajnish
There is no activity on the ethernet card, and no physical modifications are
made.
When the VRRP is up on a running router, the router responds back to ARP
request for the VRRP IP with the VRRP MAC address.
Whenever a source router wants to send a packet to a machine on its local
LAN, it sends a IP ARP to obtain the MAC address of that machine. In this
case, it will receive the VRRP MAC.
I presume as suggested by you that the ethernet card would be working in the
promiscous mode, but i cant guarantee that it true at all.

In the implementation I know of the ethernet address is indeed changed to
the virtual MAC. There are variant of VRRP where the card is
essentially in promiscuous mode.

Hi All,

As per my understanding as gathered by various resources including this =
mailing-list,
in order to have two virtual routers handled by the VRRP router, i need =
to set the Ethernet card
to promiscuous mode and filter the packets based on the MAC address by =
the Software(probably=20
VRRPd, i need to investigate how...?? :-) any ideas...!!! ).=20

I have an implementation doubt coming to my mind. Shall i run seperate =
deamon for each=20
virtual router's VRRP routers, or shall i think of design in which a =
single Daemon should be
capable enough of handling multiple virtual routers, which could be =
configured dynamically.

ANy clues/ideas how any one of u have implemented this...

Thanks in Advance
Rajnish

Hi,

Is anyone knows what is a reasonable range of "Advertisement_Interval"
parameter so that VRRP will still stay stable. Is 10 miliSec is
reasonable ?
I want to reduce failover time from 3 seconds (default) to 50 mili
seconds.

thanks,
Bentzy W.

Hi Amnon,
A Backup router decides that it has to move to Master state in case that
it didn't get any advertisements for a Master_Down_Interval period. if
this interval had been a constant value, then theoretically all backup
routers would try to move to Master state on the same time, and we would
get a longer period of unstabilized LAN.
However, by adding a variable period of time (the Skew time is a value
between 0 and 1 second), a higher priority Backup router (which has a
smaller skew time according to the formula in the RFC) would change state
into Master before a lower one. if the differences in the Backup routers
priorities are configured properly, there is a good chance that the lower
priority backup router would get the new Master's advertisement before
his timer fires.
Hope it made a little sense,
yaron

I think that under some configuration conditions VRRP will be able to
supply 50 miliSec failover: switch that ensures slave's line is quite
(because of switch
port-mapping "directed" to master) - therefore slave won't miss any
advr. sent
by master with no delay/colision on line. Moreover, I am talking about
only 2
devices that closely connected (single segment).
Am i wrong ?

I would probably not be the best person to help with the issues related to
implementing VRRP on linux..:-)

I have copied the mailing list on this email, maybe someone out there has
implemented on Linux, or could be of more help...

Thanks.

Respected Sir,
Thank you for your reply. We would like
to implement VRRP from the scratch for linux. Any
implementation guides or references and *skills
required*(for eg: kernel internals) will be of great
help to us.
Thanking you

Hi David,

There is an open source VRRP implementation for Linux: vrrpd. Here is a
pointer
from a previous email exchange.

When i sent the info about my implementation to bob hinden, he encouraged me
to send them to the list. It is an opensource implementation of VRRPv2 as
specified in rfc2338. It run in userspace under linux. You can find it in
http://w3.arobas.net/~jetienne/vrrpd.tgz

I doesn't have commercial implementations to test the interoperability, so
if any interoperability problems occur, please email me.

The vrrp spec says a router becomes master if it owns the
associated IP addressES. However, a network "guru" told me
that one of the routers can have ONE real ip address configured
but that the rest are virtual. Is only one real associated
address allowed?

Thanks,

i'm not sure i fully understand your question, but here goes.
most routers (including servers acting as routers) have
a "primary" IP address for an interface and any additional
IP addresses are called "secondary" or "alias". this, however
is completely irrelevant to VRRP. VRRP makes no distinction
between a primary and a secondary address on an interface, as
it only cares that a *single* interface on a *single* router
is designated as the "owner" (not that it does not say "real",
"primary", or any other name that would imply something about
the specific router).

make sense?

Hi !
Does anybody know what are the traps as referred in RFC 2787 ?.
When do they occur ? Under what circumstances ? What should be done when they occur ?.

Thank you,

Amnon,

The definitions in RFC 2787 seems pretty clear. There are two traps
(notifications) defined there - vrrpTrapNewMaster for transitions of the
entity running the agent into 'master' state, and vrrpTrapAuthFailure at
reception of non-authenticated VRRP messages. 'What should be done' is a
matter of the management application that is receiving the traps, and this
is out of the scope of the RFC, probably in the field of creativity of the
application writers.

Regards,

Dan
