python3-llvmlite (Lightweight LLVM python binding)

llvmlite is a project originally tailored for Numba's needs, using the
following approach:

-A small C wrapper around the parts of the LLVM C++ API we need that
are not already exposed by the LLVM C API.
-A ctypes Python wrapper around the C API.
-A pure Python implementation of the subset of the LLVM IR builder that
we need for Numba.

NOTE: Unable to support newer versions than 0.40.1 due to requiring a
newer LLVM than included in Slackware (needs >= 14.0).

ALSO NOTE: This package requires llvm13 to be built. If you're using
llvm22+ from extra/, you will need to temporarily downgrade to llvm13
to build the package, then you can upgrade back to llvm22 and install
llvm13-compat from extra/ as the run-time dependency.
